Welcome to WDC!!! I can say from my experience as member for the past 10 years that you have found the best writing community on-line! If you are looking for a place where your work will be received, and your story heard, I would say you've found it!

This is definitely a place where rating/reviewing is an integral part of the community experience. If you take a look to the left of your computer screen, there is a side bar with links to all types of places to travel within WDC. The top one titled, Things to Do & Read will lead you to your starting point to writing activities and contests that happen throughout the month.

Don't forget to check out main page called The Hub, which tells you about things occurring on WDC, and things to peruse as you settle in here.
