I'm thinking of a bit of a contest - maybe just something for fun for those of us who are here already, and tempted to write and read such things..... Let me as you this: What do you see to be the most important piece in SteamPunk? Do you perceive it to be the characters, the setting, the set pieces themselves? Think about stories you've read in the genre. What made it work for you?
Your answers may help in the formation of a competition, of sorts, that I may devise......
