Noticing Newbies

Hola.!
Though I created my account about 2 months ago (perhaps)... I never used it...
If you follow the lines below... That's the info about me... ;)
Name's Aravind. 18 yrs had passed in my lifetime. Indian. Fair complexion. Writing is my passion. I had won an essay writing competition when I was 6 and I've been writing ever since. I've written 3 short stories (one of them. Genre: Drama, Sport and the other 2 Genre: Drama, Romance) ... I'm keen on putting up for any contest organized by writing.com (which I don't know how. as I'm a newbie here (suggestions welcomed))
Apart from writing....
I'm a musician. A singer would be the more apt word. I practice carnatic vocals (which happens to be the pride of my country) ... and also cinematic songs and albums by other great artist. We've just started a Music band and named them as "The Underdogs" (pretty good name for a start I suppose... :D). We've composed 2 new songs (1 English and 1 in a local language of our city) .. I play the violin occasionally... I'm average when it comes to learning and have more enthusiasm when it comes to inventions and especially love researching on "Time Travelling" and "Life after Death" (the 2 yet to be proven mythical facts which can't be fully explained by Science and I'm intending to make some contribution.. Let's see.,,)
