Welcome to Writing.Com, Deb Author Icon. I liked your bio--having "a great imagination and see(ing) much more than the average eye when perusing the life around me" is a great asset to a writer. I think you'll fit in very well here. Family is a nice support to one's writing efforts but IMHO rarely gives the necessary constructive criticism one needs to really improve, something you should have little trouble finding here. *Wink*
