It looks like you are going to have an awful lot of stuff going on.

The idea is pretty good, but I'm afraid it may get bogged down by too many characters and too many subplots.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea.

You are going to have a lot of work ahead of you in trying to keep the characters and subplots lined up so that readers can keep track of them.
