Noticing Newbies

Well actually, that title is slightly misleading as I'm actually living in Sweden, but I'm originally from Wellington, New Zealand. My name is Aidan and I am a 20 y.o Kiwi who has always had an interest in creative writing but a lack of motivation/good ideas has prevented me from putting pen to paper outside of school exercises. Until now I hope! Anyway, I've rediscovered a bit of inspiration and I'm quite keen on writing something about politics/societal issues, set in New Zealand (patriotism etc etc), so I'd be eager to exchange ideas with anyone with similar ambitions! Or just any ideas in general, I'd love to see what other people from around the world are inspired by, that's basically the reason I signed up to writing.com after all. Anyway, rambling over. Cheers!
