Noticing Newbies

Hello from NW Missouri!

I'm a 50ish mom and grandma who has finally given in to the pull of the writing muse inside me.
My chosen genre is romance and I would like to write contemporary romances set on the plains of Kansas and Missouri where I've lived all my life. Some of the best advice I ever got on writing was to write what you know and that's what I know.
I most recently won NaNoWriMo, writing a contemporary romance set in NW Kansas.
I have a degree in English and Literature so that's a big help even if I did get it a lifetime ago.
I'm looking to network with anyone who loves romance with the hope of finding a few who are interested in mutual support and help with editing and story ideas.
