Noticing Newbies

Hello Soran,

Welcome to the site. This is definitely a great place to polish your writing. When I joined here in 2008, I wrote English with German syntax and punctuation. I am not going to say that my English is perfect now, but all the things I do right, I do right because of this site. It's that powerful. Oh, and hours and hours of reading, writing, reviewing, learning, listening to advice, looking it up in books and comparing ... but it pays off. Wherever you have weaknesses in your writing, you will be told. Sometimes in a nice way, sometimes in a more, huh, "honest" way. Okay, some people have little tact when they give advice. So, take everything with a grain of salt, but take even harsh reviews as the opinion of the person who gave it. See if you can find some truth in them and see if there is indeed something you should change in your writing, be it grammar, punctuation, or really long sentences that never seem to end just like this one.

Also, since you mention Redwall, check out BIG BAD WOLF is Merry and his Redwall. You two might be a good pair to compare Redwall stories since you are both fans with fan-fiction for it.
