Noticing Newbies

Hi,

I'm very new to this, inspired by a colleague who writes and uses this site. When I was young I would write poems all the time, and little stories. I even enquired about writing courses (seeing an advert in the paper) when I was between 11-13. I love to read but I haven't written anything for years, even though I used to be told I had a vivid imagination. I'm hoping that I can rekindle the writing fire I had when I was young with no cares in the world.
I will try and review pieces, but I'm not sure how much my views will mean to the author - however, I can say it will be 100% honest. I've also got a passion for correct spelling/grammar.
