I desire to nominate "Gogh" by Angus in Short Story (1) in, I think, the Suspense/Horror category.
This is a finely crafted piece of darkness and horror by a WdC master of the genre. The story line develops smoothly to its twisted climax, the point at which the plot is finally revealed. The characterisation of Gogh himself is clear and involving. The moral of this story is that the gods don't smile kindly on those who seek perfection. maybe this is a lesson for all of us.
