Welcome, laurensh. I hope Writing.com can help you meet those two goals (and the many more I'm sure you'll set in the future). Consider taking a moment to fill out your BioBlock on your main Port page, and perhaps the Biography tab as well. I'm sure you'll find many other members with similar interests and this will help them find you too.

This IS a great place to polish your own writing style. Let us know if you need help with navigating around the site. It can be a mite daunting, but if you take it in small bites, you'll find all manner of neat features that will help you on your writing journey.
