Noticing Newbies

Well, I'm not very good at introducing myself, but here goes: I'm a former EMT, born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. I currently reside with friends in Greenville, Texas (oh, this is just a temporary stay...I think. They're trying to get me to stay in the area). I recently traveled from New Jersey to California by car with the intent to stay there....but you can't keep a rolling stone stationary, and I wound up here to help them with their home....(soft chuckle).

I'm basically new at this. Not writing, actually, I've done it casually off and on through the years, mostly off, but only because the heart wasn't in it. I had a lot of other things going on. Life happens. What I'm new at is getting recognized, and I have a project I'm working on that, if all goes well, will be published within the year. Right now it's a lot of research and just trying to wrap myself around the plot...or the plot wrapping itself around me.

My genre is horror, and I'll tell you why: If I had a dime for every nightmare I've had I'd be wealthy, and if my nightmares give me the shivers, they'll hopefully do the same for you.

Well, it's been a pleasure....I hope to get reviews from you all, honest ones. I can only benefit from criticism, and I look forward to it.
