This is a good place to get critiques from a variety of people, each with different styles and preferences. It helps that everyone here likes to write themselves. You'll probably still get those random "Nice story! Write on!" reviews, but the good ones will outweigh the fluff ones.

If you used to be an avid peer editor, what makes you think that your reviews wont be the best? hehe Sounds like you have more experience with it than many new people who first join here. I peeked at your reviews, and they seem to be a good start. Your first review was my personal favorite. You mentioned some areas to improve as well as what parts you really enjoyed. In my mind, that is a good review!
