Noticing Newbies

Welcome to WDC, Stephanie! :) Feedback is nothing to fear. Even if it is negative, it can only help you grow as a writer. I was the opposite of you when I joined. I was self-confident to the point of being cocky I'd say. Most reviews were very positive ("Nice piece! I like this and this!" 4.5 stars" type), but then I joined a hardcore SF review group. Wow, what a difference! They pinpointed real issues with my work, and I grudgingly accepted them. I would say that it has increased the quality of my work by leaps and bounds. Feedback is a wonderful thing... even if it stings to hear it.

I may just have to snoop through your port later. Love scifi and horror. ;)
