Hello everyone,

I just want to notify you that there have been a few changes in the forum, including some awards rule changes.

Best Portfolio
-In the past, winners of the Quill Award for Best Portfolio were allowed to be nominated in subsequent years and could win again 2 years after a win. This rule has been changed so that at least 3 years must pass between wins.
-Thanks to the fancy new port awardicons available thanks to The StoryMaster and The StoryMistress , we'll be upping both this and the New Port awards to include a high-amount (200K plus) awardicon!

Best Contest/Group
-similar to Best Port, there must now be at least 2 years between wins instead of 1

Special Contributions to WDC
-all nominations must now have endorsements from at least 3 WDC members; if you nominate someone, you'll be contacted for further steps
-the only exception to this rule is for prior winners of this award, who may nominate without any additional endorsements

Award amounts
-assuming 44 Quills are given out this edition (which seems reasonable; last year there were 41 but there's been a net gain this year), we plan on handing out roughly 3.5 million GPs worth of awards in merit badges, awardicons, GPs, etc. this year
