Ah, the Double Space Paragraph setting is supposed to effect the entries within the book (just as the Preserve Spacing option does) ... This was an oversight / bug. Thanks for pointing it out.
I've fixed this in the development site code ... so it won't take effect until I push out the next update. That's soon. Possibly later tonight.
