I'm so sad I missed this thread cause I'd been torturing myself about my genre!! I'm pretty sure it falls into Sci-Fi but the fact that I made up my own alien race along with a few other things, like "Blank Space" an area of space that literally could not exist in the real universe (or could it?? hmmmmmmm) may push it along the fine line of fantasy. Its all so confusing!!!! But reading that thread made me relax and gave me a few good laughs!! Thank you!!
