Regarding the antagonist.. My story contains two of them at different points in time. They're both someone from my character's past, but only one will actually grace the story with his presence. The second one, which is the main one, will show up only at the end, but there won't be a solution to this problem, only a continuation. The main villain comes later (book 3 - I know I'm planning too far into the future) and is the real antagonist in that book.

Should I still write a back story on him? Just in case I change my mind down the line?
