WOWZA! Thank you, Quick-Quill! I am now working on side story as we speak. This side story is definitely going to be helpful. But unfortunately not enough. I need some more conflict. Thank you for all your support. I appreciate it immensely.
Brandiwynš¶ - I would love to brainstorm!!! How do we go about doing that? Do I just tell you what conflict I have so far?
My story is loosely based on a true story. It is an urban YA.
So I have a girl (Racey) who runs away and falls in love with a gang member (Troy). The conflict is - another boy tries to win Racey's affection. Then, because she says no (multiple times) he attacks her. Troy walks in and beats up the villain. They go on the run from the law to escape any criminal charges for the attack. Second conflict, Troy's gang is also trying to keep them apart. Third conflict, Racey is trying to get Troy to leave the gang.
Be blessed and be a blessing,
Fancy
