Here's my plan for getting my butt in the chair and pen to paper:
1. Use the WDC daily writing prompt, and set my timer for 15 minutes. Write on the prompt for 15 minutes. No judgment on the content. It is what it is content and lengthwise;
2. Continue to journal every day, Again, no judgment on the length or content. (no timer here - more of a free flow - the daily commitment is what is important to me here);
3. Explore and get to know the WDC website and resources - 10-20 mins; and
4. Read 3 short stories
TOTAL DAILY TIME: @ 30-45 mins for writing/plus short story reading time. Baby steps I know, but it is a start and it is a plan. All of this will be scheduled in my day on my appointment calendar the same as any other appointment. I know I can find 30-45 minutes in my day. HERE GOES!
