I love NaNo. I love doing the Prep. I love the rush I get from rapidly typing an idea I have in my head onto the screen and it all making sense.
My problem is, I haven't actually ever finished revising a NaNo novel. I've "won" NaNo twice, but the first one isn't finished being revised yet and the second one (last year's) is still unfinished, partially because I can't seem to have the discipline to finish something without the pressure of NaNo weighing down on me. So, this leaves me having doubts about this year. I have so many unfinished novels, do I really want another one? I love the fulfillment I get from writing a 50k+ novel, but I feel like a total failure when it comes to finishing them.
