Mystical Meditations

I wrote a little welcome back poem for you Deanna. It’s a bit sentimental and sappy bit oh well. You don’t know how much I’m glad you’ve returned to us. I can’t wait until the Poem Day Contest gets into gear. Here’s to you-



When I went to look for her I found she was gone
Where did she go, had something gone wrong?
Days turned to weeks and weeks to months
I wanted things to be as they had been once
I missed my friend and fellow believer
I thought to myself “will I ever see her?”
I knew that she suffered just as I did
But was gifted with a mind that was wise and splendid
Every night she was in my prayers
She was one of my greatest fervent cares
I asked The Lord to bless her soul
And keep her skill sharpened and full
Then I rejoiced at the wonderful news
She would be coming back well and soon!
Praise the Lord, and his faithful ways!
Her life will be blessed with many good days
I rejoice at your coming Itchy Water
And thank our Lord, Master and Father
Its’ great to see you here at last
