Notification when someone posts in a forum?
by Mummsy
I'm looking for perhaps an email that comes through when a forum post is made - not a reply, but a new post. Obviously, for a very busy forum that would be a royal pain, but is it possible to make that an OPTION?

Here's the situation: I have an advice column forum that I started several years ago. It was busy for a little while, and then people stopped posting in it . . . so I sort of forgot to check it. *Blush* I was cruising through my port today and saw a post from TWO YEARS AGO. I felt terribly for never replying. *Frown*

Shaye suggested I look for it to pop up in my favorites (duh . . . so now I've added it to my favorites) but an email in my inbox would make sure nothing slipped by.

Thanks!
Amy
