Many posts I make are for a "now" event.

For instance, I make a new blog entry and want my fans to know it so they can check it out if they wish.

However, I do not want the blog entry notice to remain after I post a newer blog entry. The old notice should just go away.

I receive the notice to put in this week's Goals on the Goals Forum. Why does that reminder need to be present next week when we receive a new notice?

Maybe some Notebook and Newsfeed items should have a shelf life. To tell the truth, I seldom go back past the first page of my notebook,

The only time I seem to go back to previous posts on Newsfeed is when a Beta change has taken place and I want to check some part of it out again.
