Entry For 9/21--When The Phone Rang
It was in the middle of the night when the phone rang and I had no choice but to get out of bed and go answer it.

When I picked up the phone and said, "Hello.", some guy on the other end of the line yelled, "OKAY, JACKASS! I KNOW SHE'S THERE CHEATING ON ME WITH YOU! YOU GET HER BUTT OUT OF THAT BED AND TO THE PHONE RIGHT NOW!"

That was when I closed my eyes and said under my own breath, "For crying out loud! Not again!", before I took a deep breath and said to that guy, "Trust me, Pal. You have the wrong number."

"THAT IS A LIE! I FOUND THIS NUMBER WHILE I WAS GOING THROUGH HER PURSE AND LOOKING FOR THE ADDRESS OF THE JERK THAT MY CHERYL IS HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH! NOW YOU GET MY WIFE OUT OF THAT BED AND TO THE PHONE OR I WILL...!", yelled that stupid jerk before I slammed my fist on the coffee table and said, "Look, Jackass! I do not care what your claim is! You really do have the wrong number! Good night!"

And after I slammed the phone down, I climbed back into bed with this beautiful maiden with dark brown hair, touched her silky thigh and kissed her on the cheek before she took a deep breath and asked, "Who was it on the phone, Kevin?"

That was when I rolled her over, looked into her beautiful brown eyes and answered, "It was David. And he sounded like he had gone on another drinking binge tonight.", before she sat up and said, "Poor guy. He really is taking this divorce hard."

And when I saw a tear leaking out of her eye, I wiped it away before we both fell asleep.
