Noticing Newbies

Hello!
I am an elementary school teacher from Iowa. I love to read, especially books that have dogs as characters. I really enjoy David Rosenfelt's novels as well as Spencer Quinn. I try to read a lot of the books that my students (age 9-10) will find interesting so I can suggest options to them. I also try to read things my oldest daughter, age 13 might like to suggest things to her. So, if you ever have suggestions, love to hear them!

I also love words. I like vocabulary and playing with words. I enjoy writing and would someday like to write a book. I have an idea for a children's book after I retire.

I love college sports, especially football and basketball. In my spare time you might find me outside with a book and my German shepherd hanging out. My dream job would be to own a dog daycare and work in a bookstore. Perhaps someday????
