It's difficult for a reason. The site prefers that reviewers speak their own minds about an item rather than be influenced by what other people have said already.
If any particular writer wished to add links to public reviews at the end of their work, they already have the option of doing that themselves. I don't see people doing that. I do see a lot of people using the Requires Reviews with Ratings setting so even previous ratings don't influence new reviewers.
Since writers can edit their items at any time, a review time-stamped before the last Modified date might not relate to the current item anymore.
Regarding the educational aspects, try going at it from the other direction: when you find a reviewer who writes what you think are useful reviews (and everybody has their own opinion about what that is), you can go to their port and look at all their still-visible public reviews under their Reviews tab or their Community tab.
