A new guy

Hello?

Sorry, I'm not an experienced forum user, so I'm going to be a little lost for the first few weeks days.
Anyway, I've been checking this site, mainly the archives, for a while and now I spontaneously decided to join.

I like to write a lot, but ultimately I'm a bit perfectionist so I won't post anything until I'm sure its the best I can do. If I decide it's not, I burn it. Because of that, I rarely post anything and when I do, it's not too long. Its a bad habit, but one I just can't get rid of!
I also like to think of myself as an experienced writer, considering I've been a part of a writing club/group for about 10 years. And a few online writing courses every once in a while. Then I started putting up some fanfiction in fanfiction.net maybe two years ago. Was quite well liked there, but then real life happened and it's been too long since I updated there. Not that I don't plan to, I've got a good story going there.
As for writing itself, I like fantasy and scifi the most. I have talent for action scenes, but I'm really bad at dialogues and portraying social interaction, so when I eventually put something up, that's what I would like help with.
...
Maybe there would have been a better place for that in somewhere else. Like the biography section? Not that I have found it yet.

Well, I'm off to vivisect this account.
