COFFEE ANYONE?

“This is all part of my plan” Fiery said confidently.
Blast looked at him hard and growled.
“Us getting caught by His Hotness is part of your plan? You told me this all-fire sure plan remember a few eons ago and as I recall it didn't include shoveling brimstone for His Royal Darkness.”
“Oh stop being grumpier than usual. Just because we didn't make it through the Drear Door to that coffee place, what’s it called again?”
“Diner Schemes and Cafe Dreams, you idiot. You were there the first time we stumbled across it while warping, why can’t you ever remember what it’s called?”
“Maybe because I’m not a coffee bean addict like you! What would ever make you try eating the things?”
“They smelled sooo bitter and stale, I just had to try them!” Blast sighed with remembrance.
“Try them, you ate the whole barrel that we brought back with us for His Royal Nastiness. No wonder we never made it past his office door!” Fiery tugged at his greasy goatee in frustration.
“So if this is part of your plan, what happens now, genius?”
Fiery began pacing his cloven hooves striking sparks as he did so. Seeing them, his wizened face brightened.
“That’s it! You cause a distraction by setting the brimstone lake afire and I’ll make a break for the Drear Door.”
“Me? Why don’t you? You have the flintiest feet.”
“It’s my plan remember? One, two, three…”
The brimstone was ablaze in nano seconds and the Prince of Darkness had Blast by his forked tail in half that time. Seeing Fiery in the distance, the hapless imp shouted:
