I think I'd like to join . . .

I am a 61 year old newly retired former high school assistant principal and before that an English teacher. Writing just seemed like the natural hobby so here I am. I have been a member for almost two weeks. I have posted 5 items, reviewed 11, gotten GPs and all the other things that happen here. I even entered a contest for newbies, but somehow I think I am missing something. I guess that's why I think I would like to join.
