Daily Flash Fiction Challenge

Alana, George, Allen, and Tiffany are getting ready for the beach at Tiffany’s house.

“I’m really excited about going to the beach,” Tiffany said.

“Me too,” Alan agreed.

“We don’t need to bring snacks because they have a snack bar,” Allen said.

“Well, I’m ready to go. Who else is ready to go?” Tiffany asked.

They all said yes and they all headed out the door to the beach.

When the four friends are at the beach they sat there stuff on the sand.

Tiffany ran into the water and jumped over the waves.

“Hey! Wait for us!” George exclaimed as he laughed.

The other three friends ran into the water too.

An hour later the four friends got out of the water and dried themselves off with a towel.

“What is that over there?” Alana asked.

.”Let’s check it out,” Allen replied.

They all walked over to the water and they saw a pipe that lead into the water.

“That’s weird,” Tiffany said.

“I found a brick that’s in front of the pipe,” George said.

“Maybe it’s bad water and the lifeguards put the brick there, so that the bad water doesn’t get into the good water,” Alana explained.

“Yeah, let’s go in the water one more time and then build a sand castle,” George said.

“Good idea,” Tiffany said as they all ran into the water.

Two hours later they start packing there stuff.

“Hey,” Tony (the lifeguard) said.

“Oh hi why is there a brick covering a pipe over there?” Allen asked.

“That’s where the bad water is. I don’t know how the pipe got there or why there’s bad water,” Tony replied.

“Thanks for the information, but we need to get home,” Tiffany said.

“Bye,” Tony said.

The four friends headed toward the parking lot.
