LOL @ "God's intoxicated humans," Spike. (Although it IS from the book of Luke that we get the term "eat, drink and be merry.")

You are so correct in that when in differing circumstances, a bible verse can take on a whole new meaning to us. As I grow (as a human being and as a Christian), as I become wiser, I seem to incorporate the truths found there into every aspect of my life. Seasons later, the same verse will mean something different to me because I am in a different place emotionally and spiritually than I was before. Thank you for posting.
