"An America without her soldiers is like God without His angels,"
--Unknown Author
I have never personally experienced the pain and pride of having a family member serve for my country. Although, I have seen the pride in a mothers eye, in a fathers, in a siblings. I am truly grateful to all of the soldiers that are brave enough to do, what I am not. I know that you have to feel like your alone, and maybe even forgotten. Its not true, for even in my small town people pray for you every night, and every day think about you and hope for your return. Whenever your scared that you've been forgotten, look to this letter and remember your not. I hope you have a happy Christmas wherever you may be, and remember that your family, your friends, your community, and even your country wish you were there. I know that my one letter, a high school students letter will not help anything, will not bring you home, but I hope that I will give even one smile. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
