I agree that it would be nice to cancel it, but I've noticed that there's other issues with it that need fixing.

- On items that just allow email comments but not a review
I assume this is some minor glitch in the code that can be easily fixed. Maybe the latter could be replaced with "Email a comment," although that's probably a lot more code.
