October Novel Prep Challenge

Due to a severe case of Editoritis I "lost" TWO days and 1.200 words!

All of a sudden, despite detailed outline and prep, The Editor managed to free herself from the dungeon where I'd lured her with cheese cake, and cut me short. She would only let me and The Muse continue when we revised everything we had so far, almost 7k words.

Nevertheless, I'm glad that it happened so early into NaNo becaise otherwise I would've lost even more time,

So, I bit into the proverbial (German) sour apple, did the revision, and hopefully calmed The Editor long enough to comtinue the story. To be safe, I changed the lock of her dungeon and gagged her.

Anyone had such an episode as well, or am poor sucker I the only one so far?
