Lack of funds was not the problem (not that $50 is easy to find). I could have been showered with a million GPs and paypal would still have blocked the payment, as things stood a couple of hours ago.

But thanks for offering to help anyway, and the expertise you shared is appreciated. I can't access my own paypal account but everybody else can hack into it! All the best with the credit union, too, they're fine institutions, especially in these times.
