I bow to you guys if you've done any of the assignments in that time. Me, I take that long trying to come up with a word that isn't too British or too boring.
Not needed for what we're doing here, perhaps, but it's become my habitual approach to writing. When I get, "This just isn't how we speak," yet it's clear and plain Engish to me, it's infuriating.
If you challenged me to list all the terms that originated as A.E, and migrated into B.E, (due to cultural influences like Hollywood), I could write pages; yet this still isn't enough.
"Getting timed out" is one of them. We used to say, "Running out of time."
Anyway, sorry I'm getting timed out. I love the challenges - they're inspired - but I hate preferring the 'long' options and taking the 'short' ones.
