October Novel Prep Challenge

Well, technically, as I chose the 'snowflake' option as a fallback, to avoid the dreaded time guillotine. TBH, it had to be rather vacuous and generic to encapsulate the whole story in one sentence.

But I'm working on a detailed, 'traditional' outline, which I hope to add in time. (I need one to get my head round my own story, besides helping directly and indirectly with the assignments that follow. I have changed the story several times since the last outline I wrote yonks ago, and I've forgotten where I filed it anyway.)
