October Novel Prep Challenge

I'm a mother and wife with a rekindled interest in writing. Most of my works consist of poetry, and have various time failed to jump start a story. Although the ideas forever wander in my head. This is my first attempt at NaNoWriMo and hope to finally start putting together a story that's been in the oven for around 10 years.

I read a good mixture of fiction and non-fiction; for fiction, I particularly enjoy the spiritual, mystery, comedy, and drama genres. But I'm a sucker for storyline, no matter the genre.
