Snowflake

Like a lot of you, I want to get started. I've been looking at the up-coming assignments. On day 2 we are to do outlines. One method offered is the Snowflake Method. I started reading the steps. It's give nothing about an outline. On step 7 you should have a page outline. Before that is a fair amount of work.

I don't see why the Snowflake is listed as you would have to do a lot same stuff again in the up-coming weeks; not to mention that according to the directions some of these steps should take days to do.

Any here is a link to an outline for a novel that seems pretty straight forward and is just an outline, not synopsis, and then an expanded synopsis, a page for each character, including birthdays, why that mattes I am not sure. Age I can see, but birth dates?
