Welcome to the group, Blue! I think that one of the best parts of Steampunk is that there are a certain set of "rules" if you will, but then, at the same time, the world is wide open, too. I think one of the best things about the genre is our ability to rewrite history. That is what makes it so much fun, and also a bit complicated, if you let it.
