Hello and welcome. As Cerulean suggest, the genre is extremely versatile, given its ideological background and its contemporary aesthetics.
If you're interested in detective fiction within the genre, I would suggest reading George Mann's "Newbury & Hobbes Investigations," the first of which is titled The Affinity Bridge. I highly recommend the entire series. If you'd like some other suggestions, feel free to message me.
