FLASH CHALLENGE
I will award 50,000 GPs and a 25K Awardicon to the best story of not more than 1500 words posted to this forum by NO LATER THAN midnight WDC time next Sunday July 15, 2012. Please post your story using BITEM format as a response to this message.

Your Steampunk story should use the conventions of the Steampunk genre and will feature a lead character who is some kind of a super hero who utilizes gadgetry to accomplish his purposes but has no real super powers. Yes, a crime fighter along the lines of perhaps a Batman-type character. But your story must be decidedly Steampunk.

Please post a word count at the bottom of the sotry. I will allow a 200 word margin of grace but try to keep to 1500. Any questions, please e-mail me directly.
