I recall my first really long story of more than one page. It featured a child killer. I was afraid of being called to task or even investigation by the FBI, and was surprised by my reception on another site.
Except for many grammar errors, people encouraged me. Since then, I've written many questionable stories. Some of them have satirized religion. I found that if you use the proper warnings, there will be few if any rejections.
When Georgie W. was in office, many of my works lambasted the bastard. Few complained. Since I've been on this site, only one person has complained and I choose to ignore him. My latest post is about Alice selling marijuana cigarettes in Wonderland, and I don't anticipate the least bit of trouble, though I did post it as 13+. Find me a kid these days that hasn't smoked it. Most of my stories include swearing and/or adult situations.
So, don't give annoying other writers a thought. Simply don't send any in to the Christian Science Monitor for publication.
