Actually Diane this is a great question for this group. I am sure many newbies have wondered the same thing. :)

Yes it does run from Noon one day to noon the next. However, it does that on WDC time not France time which is of course New York time for the easiest way to put it. If you will look to the right hand column where your favorites are linked in, at the very top under favorites you will see a clock right now it says 6:28 a.m. est. Which means where I am, its 5:28 a.m. You can use the clock to help keep you on time for posting things with a deadline. Everything on here, if it has a deadline, will use the WDC clock. :) I hope that helps.
