The crux of it is that if SOPA gets passed then sites like WDC, wikipedia and other sites with user generated sites have the risk to get shut down based solely on an accusation of copyright infringement. On WDC there are many original items. I am sure that once in every other blue moon someone either accidentally or purposefully uploads a copyright infringing article or story. If this is found the whole of WDC could face a massive fine and potential closure.

I'm not preaching and recommend you search online before making a judgement.
