I avoid politics like the plague. No that isn't true, Every Weeknight, I watch John Stewart and Steven Colbert, so they can tell me all the stupid things the politicians have done as of late, regardless of party,and I can laugh instead of cry. Politics has always been nasty and it's always been a popularity contest, but seriously, I wish we could get a couple of constitutional Lawyers who have appeared before the Supreme Court, or maybe a strong minded, Historian who knows that those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it to run, But, they would never win.

I am so sick of politicians. To be honest, I almost hope all those stupid people predicting the end of the world are right. Im not happy with Obama, but I will vote for him again because the idea of anyone in the republican field scares me to death. To think Newt would call all judges that made decisions he didn't agree with before him and make them face Congress to explain themselves then possibly serve jail time for doing their jobs, just makes me sick at my stomach.

But, hey its not that much worse than Obama proving to be as ineffectual as Carter. Maybe he will do the world more good outside of office than he did in office, like Carter too.

Being an independent who doesn't really believe in the idiot-ology of any party, I am just ready for the whole thing to be over. The only reason I will vote this year, is because I know the history of women getting the right to vote and what some of them endured so we could do just that. I feel obligated by their memory. It is not a right anymore its a burden and will continue to be until. they give us some real people instead of these plastic, say whatever you want me to say until I get elected people.
