Welcome to the Boiler Room! I think there are quite a few of us here who are just beginning to write in the SteamPunk genre, so you'll fit right in.... and probably be a big help to us. *Smile*

My NaNo novel this year was SteamPunk - and my first attempt at it. I got to "the end" and beyond the coveted 50K word count, but it can definitely be a much, much better novel.
