I've answered that one about a dozen times, but can't seem to find one to link to. It's not offered because it would flood out group gift point logs and make it impossible for more group leaders to keep track of their other contributions. cNotes in events are often sent hundreds of times and we just don't have any "good way" to deal with that tracking that in GPs logs of groups. Sometime I'm likely to come up with one, but until then, manually sending batches of GPs from cNote events to groups is the best available option we have.
