Another way to earn GPs, which a lot of our members in "Invalid Item"  do, is once they're three months old and turn into a Veteran, they send out encouraging C-Notes and welcome scribbles to other newcomers. This pays pretty well! Since you're not quite there yet though, I do recommend what Ember said. We are pretty decent about rewarding reviews, especially to those newbies who we see are making real effort to learn.

A one time shot thing you can do is to visit "Invalid Item"  and complete the easy activities there. That should really help boost your GP, especially if you get all of them complete.
